**This item has sold.** A precious TINY Santos tiara, it would have graced a small statue of the Madonna. It originates from a very fine religious collection in Troyes, France and dates towards 1890.
It is made of gilded brass with meticulous work for such a small example. The clear glass rhinestones are set into pretty gilded brass sunflower settings (six smaller and three large). There are two arabesque scrolls at each lower side. There is a band of clear rhinestones at the bottom front.
It measures 1" tall at the front center and tapers to 1/2" tall on the sides. It is 1 3/4" wide and 2" diameter from front to back. This crown is in very good antique condition with exquisite patina. It retains it's all of the 24 set glass stones.
This is a precious antique which is a rare find in today's market.
